Paul Krugman is the real Denier

The Daily Astorian published another inflammatory op-ed by Paul Krugman (Deniers Blind Themselves) on May 19 about the “deniers” of the greatest scientific hoax every perpetrated on a free society.

The partisan column deals little with the facts about Climate Change and more about attacking the ignorant rubes from the Republican Party and other assorted idiots that don’t buy it. Krugman warns Marco Rubio that his state, “will sink beneath the waves” if he doesn’t repent.

These researchers and the media types that continue to promote the idea of this fraud are more interested in the complete Socialization of the planet despite the facts disputing it rather than the actually health of Mother Gaia. That’s the dirty little secret about Climate Change they won’t include in their arguments.  

Climate Change Science is nothing more than a governmental control mechanism to convert a free society into a 3rd world top down Soviet style model. There are many noted scientists and researches that challenge the findings of the climate dooms dayer’s you just won’t read about in the Astorian, the Oregonian and most certainly the New York Times.

In a published story on May 20, 2014 on the website Newsmax entitled: “Climate Change Remains Unsettled, Say 31,072 Scientists” there seems to be substantial group of “deniers” that don’t march lock step with Krugman.

The first 2 paragraphs say it all.

While the United Nations and the Obama administration assert that climate change is settled science and requires dramatic regulatory oversight, 31,072 U.S. scientists have signed the Petition Project, saying the issue remains decidedly unsettled.

“There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will in the foreseeable future cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate," the petition says. Over 9,000 of the petition's signatories have a Ph.D. in a scientific field.

Sometimes the myth has to be challenged with just one set of facts to debunk a dangerous theory.

In Sept. 2013 a National Snow and Ice Data study reported that Antarctic sea ice had grown to 19.51 million square kilometers. That number bested record high levels set earlier in the month and in 2012 (of 19.48 million square kilometers). These records date back to October 1978. A cold Arctic summer the previous year left 533,000 more square miles of ocean covered with ice than at the same time last year – an increase of 29 per cent.

Many researchers including the BBC predicted that the Antarctic would be ice free by the summer of 2013.

The photos released by NASA during that same time period calculated the size of the ice increase as large 950,000 square miles. Despite the photographic evidence of a 35 year high in sea ice in the Antarctic and the obvious cooling period the earth’s climate has been in the last several years the Church of Global Warming has still tried to spin the facts to make you believe in their scam. The facts are in, they’re the real deniers.

Antarctic sea ice hit 35-year record high Saturday

Antarctic sea ice has grown to a record large extent for a second straight year, baffling scientists seeking to understand why this ice is expanding rather than shrinking in a warming world.

On Saturday, the ice extent reached 19.51 million square kilometers, according to data posted on the National Snow and Ice Data Center Web site.  That number bested record high levels set earlier this month and in 2012 (of 19.48 million square kilometers). Records date back to October 1978.

The increasing ice is especially perplexing since the water beneath the ice has warmed, not cooled.

“The overwhelming evidence is that the Southern Ocean is warming,” said Jinlun Zhang, a University of Washington scientist, studying Antarctic ice. “Why would sea ice be increasing? Although the rate of increase is small, it is a puzzle to scientists.”

In a new study in the Journal of Climate, Zhang finds both strengthening and converging winds around the South Pole can explain 80 percent of the increase in ice volume which has been observed.

“The polar vortex that swirls around the South Pole is not just stronger than it was when satellite records began in the 1970s, it has more convergence, meaning it shoves the sea ice together to cause ridging,” the study’s press release explains. “Stronger winds also drive ice faster, which leads to still more deformation and ridging. This creates thicker, longer-lasting ice, while exposing surrounding water and thin ice to the blistering cold winds that cause more ice growth.”

But no one seems to have a conclusive answer as to why winds are behaving this way.

“I haven’t seen a clear explanation yet of why the winds have gotten stronger,” Zhang told Michael Lemonick of Climate Central.

Some point to stratospheric ozone depletion, but a new study published in the Journal of Climate notes that computer models simulate declining – not increasing – Antarctic sea ice in recent decades due to this phenomenon (aka the ozone “hole”).

“This modeled Antarctic sea ice decrease in the last three decades is at odds with observations, which show a small yet statistically significant increase in sea ice extent,” says the study, led by Colorado State University atmospheric scientist Elizabeth Barnes.

A recent study by Lorenzo Polvani and Karen Smith of Columbia University says the model-defying sea ice increase may just reflect natural variability.

If the increase in ice is due to natural variability, Zhang says, warming from manmade greenhouse gases should eventually overcome it and cause the ice to begin retreating.

“If the warming continues, at some point the trend will reverse,” Zhang said.

However, a conclusion of the Barnes study is that the recovery of the stratospheric ozone layer – now underway – may slow/delay Antarctic warming and ice melt.

Ultimately, it’s apparent the relationship between ozone depletion, climate warming from greenhouse gases, natural variability, and how Antarctic ice responds is all very complicated. In sharp contrast, in the Arctic, there seems to be a relatively straight forward relationship between temperature and ice extent.

Thus, in the Antarctic, we shouldn’t necessarily expect to witness the kind of steep decline in ice that has occurred in the Arctic.

“…the seeming paradox of Antarctic ice increasing while Arctic ice is decreasing is really no paradox at all,” explains Climate Central’s Lemonick. “The Arctic is an ocean surrounded by land, while the Antarctic is land surrounded by ocean. In the Arctic, moreover, you’ve got sea ice decreasing in the summer; at the opposite pole, you’ve got sea ice increasing in the winter. It’s not just an apples-and-oranges comparison: it’s more like comparing apple pie with orange juice.”

As many of you know who follow my page I don't believe for one second in global warming or climate change. I’ve been a very outspoken advocate trying to inform people that the science connected to it is a fraud. It’s nothing but a control issue for Liberals to regulate everything from our energy resources, to our food supply, to what kind vehicles we drive etc. The worst of it is it’s destroying our national economy. The debate needs to be continued by those of us who know that its total nonsense and explain GW/CC for what it really is which is a mechanism to totally CONTROL every aspect of our lives.

That said I stumbled onto this link from National Geographic today. It’s a world map showing what would happen if all the ice melted and the world’s seas rose 216 feet. First it’s an absurd piece of fiction to believe that it will ever happen, but what if by some strange set of climate events it did happen? Click on the interactive map to see the results of the world wide flood. After viewing their map of North America and imagining what could happen as a result of this fantasy a thought occurred to me. Cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle on the West Coast and New York, Boston and Washington DC on the East Coast would either be partially or fully underwater. Maybe this wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing.

Why you ask? This would mean that all the members of the Church of Global Warming who live on the left and right coasts would be forced to move inland to the heartland of the North American continent. As a result they’d be forced to give up urban elitism and live in places with far more Conservative views than their previous locations and have no choice but to assimilate into their culture. So what is the end result, the end game? The final death blow to Liberalism is at last achieved! Hooray! Thank you for melting all the ice God, you restored the human race with a renewed set of virtues, morals and political ideology. I knew you had a plan for us!

It sounds a little crazy and farfetched doesn’t it? Regardless, it’d sure make for one heck of a science fiction story or Hollywood movie now wouldn’t it? I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the book, the t-shirt and tickets in advance to see the movie.

Here's photographic evidence from a NASA satellite that the earth is cooling, it is NOT warming. 950,000 square acres of new ice has expanded in the Arctic in 1 year. Not even photos will convince the hardcore climate alarmist’s but a picture should be worth a 1,000 words even if you're in denial. Pass this on to the greenies and thank them for the $4 a gallon gas you're paying for.

The narrative about energy must reverse course. We must badger the liberal media and get them to understand that Global Warming is a fraud and demand that they honestly report the facts to reeducate the greenies that have been duped into this climate change cult. It’s unbelievable that the only honest information coming out on this issue has to come from the British and Canadian Press Corps. The U.S. lame stream media is nowhere in sight.

We must drill now for more oil and natural gas in the US and produce more domestic coal. Energy independence isn't impossible if we give up this idea that windmills, solar batteries and bio-fuels will save us from the patently false idea of a coming global apocalypse. The opposite is true, government subsidies for energy systems that will not meet our energy needs is economic suicide and ridiculous when we have the oil, gas and coal reserves right here in the US to meet most of our needs. Up and until the alternative energy sources make economic sense to produce and consume we must go with the cheapest most readily available energy there is which is oil. Since there is more evidence every day proving that the climate isn’t being changed by fossil fuels we can and should be using them.

The planet is going to survive us but we won’t survive it if we let a small group of liberal bureaucrats wreck our national economy, our country and thus killing any chance of us remaining a free and prosperous society. Imagine if we could reduce our oil imports by 30% even 20%? Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we were not slaves to Middle Eastern oil? Imagine how our foreign policy would change? Wouldn’t it be fantastic to tell the Arabs to keep their oil and to go to hell? Imagine gas going down to under $2 a gallon? Imagine what that alone would do for economic growth? Imagine the price of almost every consumer item dropping in price because transportation costs would be cut in half?

It’s not going to happen until we break up the Church of Climate change. We must combat them with facts and eventually we’ll win the ideology battle. Then we can eventually win the war and bring back some common sense to our national energy policy. The Great Global Warming Swindle must come to end. 

Smog, Climate Change and Energy are 3 Seperate Issues

I got into a debate with a Global Warming Alarmist from LA today on a message board and thought I’d share this rant. No sense wasting it on one person. If you have a few minutes, watch all or part of this video for some background.

The Global Warming Swindle

LA does have some smog and it does need to be dealt with but one EPA sized rule does not fit all. Remember living in the bubble of LA is different than living in the fly over states. Air quality needs to be addressed in big cities but even with the smog it's NOT causing global warming. Smog and global warming are not connected and never have been. The facts don't fit the argument and today the smog is not as big a problem as it was because cars are burning cleaner fuel and are not admitting as bad of emissions as 20 years ago.

Even if the air quality in LA still needs improvement we shouldn’t destroy the entire nation’s economy by spending billions on energy systems than have a huge deficit on cost and delivery. Especially if it can only be counted on to meet less than 10% of our energy needs right now. It’s a real fairy tale to believe that solar, wind and bio-fuels are going to heat and cool every house in the US or power every car, ship, truck or train that moves food and every other essential consumer products we need.

I’ll give one truly ironic and moronic thing I love about California greenies that drives me crazy in this fantasy that is global warming. Some think electric cars are the answer. Really? First where does the electric power come from? Power plants. What do they use as an energy source to fuel power plants? Coal and natural gas. When I lived in Sacramento 10 years ago (another city with smog problems) the people of California didn’t want any more power plants built because they burned coal or natural gas.

Well Gee… how the hell are you going to power electric cars if the power grid in cities like LA and Sacramento are maxed out already? Electric energy is not an invisible source of energy. I’m amazed how stupid people are in just this one case alone. Then the other issue is the manufacture and the disposal of the car batteries if millions are put into production and used. The chemical waste created by batteries would be far more harmful to the environment that any diesel or gas burning vehicle.

Just like power plants some don’t want solar farms either in California. It’s the same moronic thinking that is getting us all nowhere. Why are we letting California control the narrative on the whole climate change and energy debate? They don’t have a clue. They want Solar Energy but not at the sake of Turtles. Bio-fuels have proven to be a disaster. First you must use energy to plant the corn, then energy to harvest the corn, and then use energy to transport the corn to a processing facility, and then use energy to process the corn into fuel, and then use energy to transport the fuel to dispensing facilities. Wow, very efficient system there isn’t it? More energy is wasted in making the energy than any benefit of using it thus it’s a negative outcome not just from an energy standpoint but from an economic outcome. Not only that but the corn used to make the fuel is causing worldwide food shortages and driving up the price of foods that use corn additives.

The farmers planting the corn for bio-fuels love it because they’re receiving massive government subsidies to grow and plant corn for bio-fuel. We shouldn’t have to subsidize another grand and stupendous failure like this one period when oil, natural gas and coal are in abundance.

Wind and solar are a joke too, because they cannot and will not work in certain areas of the US because of weather conditions. I live in NW Oregon wind and solar is impossible here just as it is many parts of the country. It’s total nonsense that the people of LA or any of the other big cities can dictate what energy policy and air quality policy is going to be when nothing compares to their problems.

Nuclear power plants is one of solutions I support, but it’s the same thing, waste is created in the process so Greenies don’t want them. In France they’ve been safely using them for years.

One thing is certain we can’t let people who believe in global warming destroy our free society by letting a few cites with some smog problems dictate energy and economic policy to the rest of us. Oil, natural gas and coal in combination with the other useful alternative energy sources can and should be used but this straw man called global warming needs to be burned at the stake because man isn’t causing climate change. 

Why are we still debating Global Warming?

When are we going to put a stop to letting the Greenies destroy our economy and our national security with this insane climate change hoax?

It drives me berserk that the EPA and Obama have no problem with us paying $100 a barrel for imported oil from the Venezuelans, the Saudis', the Russians, the Iranians and even the United Arab Emirates whose rear ends we saved in the first gulf war. Especially since we have abundant supplies of cheap oil, natural gas and coal right in our own backyard.

We must end the drilling bans in Alaska and offshore. We need to let the coal industry continue to mine to help provide inexpensive electricity. We must also refine more of our own natural gas. Every resource should be used until the day the alternative energy sources make economic sense. Right now all this wind, solar and bio-fuel shame can produce is maybe 10% of our total energy needs. The bio-fuel fiasco is doing more to spurn food shortages than producing cheap energy. And how well is solar and wind energy going to work in Astoria? Answer: it isn’t.

What do we do starve ourselves of cheap oil to make a point? What is the point? Do we go back to horse and buggy, walk or ride bikes until the miracle renewable energy source is fully developed? Answer: No.

Fossil Fuels are still the most inexpensive energy source in the world and by not exploring domestically we are committing national suicide.

We risk an economic and as well as a national security collapse by being dependent on the people who would love more than anything to see us go totally bankrupt all in the name of worshiping Mother Gaya. They must be laughing their collective butts off at us.

Why are we still debating Global Warming/Climate Change? The science used to say it was legitimate has proven to be nothing but fraudulent junk science. Americans need to shake this nonsense out their heads so our nation can recover, prosper, be less dependent and more secure. That is all!
